Position Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a recognized post-secondary program with plans to return to full-time studies in the fall of 2019. (Mandatory) 
• Minimum level of education: (CEGEP) In the process of completing DEC. (Final year)
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have continual access to a vehicle. (Mandatory)
• Bilingual. 
• Valid First Aid/CPR + AED certification a strong asset.

Lennoxville Youth Center’s AGM

 

It’s that time of the year again … time for the Lennoxville Youth Centre’s Annual General Meeting!  We are pleased to invite you to join us for this very important event that will be held on June 14th, 2018 at 6:00pm at the Uplands Heritage and Cultural Center. A lunch will be served from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. So RSVP at the latest on June 11th 2018 as we have limited seating.

 

We will review our 2017-2018 Financial Statements, our Activity Report, and you will have the opportunity to participate in the election of, or present yourself to be a candidate for, the Board of Directors for the upcoming year.

 

The Annual General Meeting is open to all community members.

2016 Benefit Dinner & Silent Auction

To celebrate our 30th anniversary, we are holding a Benefit Dinner & Silent Auction. Please join us on Friday October 28th, 2016 at the Amedée-Beaudoin Community Centre in Lennoxville. Half of the funds raised will be used to finance our youth activties and projects, while the other half will be donated to the Phelps Helps program.

The meal is michoui buffet style and will include:
– Pulled pork
-Chicken legs and thighs
-Roasted potatoes
– Salads
-Dinner rolls
-Cake
-Tea, coffee, juice
*vegetarian option is available on request.

Tickets:
18 years old and older: $25.00
17 years old and younger: $15.00
5 years old and younger: Free

Want to donate but can’t make it to the dinner? We have donation tickets available! You can receive a tax receipt for your donation.

BISHOP’S UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY FASHION SHOW

Friday February 6th at Centennial Theatre! Buy your tickets today at Provigo Lennoxville at the Fashion Show bake sale. 11:00am until 6:00pm. Tickets can also be purchased at Lennoxville Tri-Us! All proceeds go toward the Lennoxville Youth Center’s youth activity fund! Ticket prices: 11 and younger – $5; 12-17 – $8; 18+ – $12

2015 Benefit Dinner & Silent Auction

The LYC will be holding a benefit dinner & silent auction on Friday November 28th.

The dinner will consist of:
-Turkey & gravy
-Cranberry sauce
-Stuffing
-Mashed potatoes
-Vegetables
-Dinner roll
-Dessert
-Coffee, tea and juice.

The dinner and silent auction will take place at the Amedée-Beaudoin Community Center located at 10 Samuel Gratham – directly above the Lennoxville fire station. The silent auction will open at 4:30pm. Dinner will begin serving at 5:30pm.

Tickets are $20 for the meal and can be purchased at the LYC – located at 168-B Queen street.

If you’d like to donate but do not wish to attend the dinner, there are donation tickets available at $20. An official tax receipt will be issued at the donor’s request.

All summer long the members at the LYC would love to take those empty bottles off your hands – call us to schedule a pick up or drop your empties off at the Youth Center (feel free to leave them in the stairwell if we are away from the Center!).  All proceeds will go towards our humanitarian trip to New Orleans!

Cet été, les membres de la maison des jeunes aimerait avoir vos bouteilles vides – vous pouvez nous appeler pour qu’on viens les chercher ou vous pouvezdéposer vos bouteilles vides à la maison des jeunes (n’hésitez pas à les laisser devant la porte si nous sommes pas là!). Tous les profits seront versés à notre voyage humanitaire à la Nouvelle-Orléans.
